Summer Paddle Camp 2023

On August 16th, 2023, Xplore Kayak & Haw River Assembly will host a free summer paddle at Lake Brandt (Greensboro) from 5:30 pm and last until 7 pm.

The paddle camp will provide an educational platform for outdoor activities, water safety, and paddlesports-related topics. We are encouraging Black, Indigenous, and People of Color for this paddle. This event is meant to uplift the BIOPC community through the avenue of outdoor recreation.
Participants may be as young as 11 years old, but anyone under 18 will need to be accompanied by a guardian and must sign an additional waiver. Participants should bring lunch, change of clothes, sunscreen, towel, water bottle, water shoes, dry bag, personal care items, etc.
