Angel of Alabama

Haw River Assembly will host a screening of “Angel of Alabama” and conduct a live panel discussion with several experts on March 9, 2023. The film features a mid-career investigator returns home in rural Alabama to support her mother’s failing health. Amidst unusually rampant disease, she becomes a caretaker for her community until an unexpected diagnosis launches her investigation to heal her county. Her years of work have led to a permanent water solution for her community.

Doors open at 6 pm, and film starts at 6:30 pm. The panel will immediately follow the screening and focus on the film and looming PFAS issues.
