NCDEQ strengthens temporary standards for PFAS to protect public health.
We made the calls for stronger temporary groundwater standards for addressing PFAS pollution and NCDEQ has set those temporary standards. With communities like Graham facing alarmingly high PFAS levels, residents demand accountability from polluters and as new studies become available, we will continue to make the call for further action from DEQ to strengthen these standards and for the EMC to establish more permanent regulations.
