Haw River Assembly is thrilled to be present at the “River Social” event as Haw River Canoe & Kayak Company & The Haw River Ballroom host a screening of select films from the 2025 International Paddling Film Festival on Saturday, March 29th!

Doors open for the River Social at 5:30 pm and screening begins at 7:00 pm.

Before the evening festives, Haw River Assembly will host a "river watch" spot at Saxapahaw Island Park, where invidiuals can look at macroinvertebrates and learn how they help determine water quality! Piedmont Legacy Trails, NC Department of Natural & Cultural Resources, and Friends of Mountains-to-Sea Trail will also be hosting hikes in the day time.
