This year’s 32nd Annual Haw River Clean Up-A-Thon was held Saturday, March 19th with over 20 teams of volunteers who removed trash along the river and creeks from Greensboro to Jordan Lake. This litter and stormwater debris is ugly and dangerous to wildlife. In the last 32 years we’ve had 6,230 volunteers collect 10,714 bags of trash and 1,944 tires from the Haw!
